PML Week 10 Pick Ems’

JAX 45 VS IND 24 –

The Jags have been playing solid football and I think they continue on their path to a possible playoff appearance here in season three. The Colts have had some excellent run games recently and played some good games, but I do not think it will be enough this week. Jags get out to an early start and coast late.

WAS 28 VS MIN 42 –

Miles has had his Commanders closing the gap late and keep games interesting but the Vikings defense won’t let that happen here. 14-point game that will feel like a bigger difference when the game ends.

BAL 17 VS DET 48 –

Check the depth chart…. Geno Smith? 84 throw power? Vs the lions who just scored 63? yeah, Lions by 4 scores here. The Ravens defense will keep it close early, but the lions pull away late.

CIN 24 VS GB 31 –

The Bengals have had an up and down season 1 and have looked good in some games and outmatched in others. I think this is a close game but hype catches on and shuts down the Bengals offense late to seal the win and continue his march to a third straight playoff appearance.

CLE 42 VS PIT 13 –

These two coaches know each other well and while the Browns have not beaten people by their 40-point Vegas spreads lately, they have won most games pretty easily. I think the defense forces 3-4 turnovers and the offense coasts to an easy win.

KC 45 VS PHI 21 –

The Eagles traded a first and 2 seconds to acquire Ridder and Adams in what were win now moves that so far have not panned out. They are on a 4-game losing streak but are getting healthier. Will this be what the team needs to finally get a win? It may be in the future, but it won’t be in this game. Ridder/Leary versus Mahomes is an easy choice and it will be an easy win this week for the Chiefs.

SEA 40 VS SF 30 –

The Niners are reeling, and the Seahawks are trying to gain a huge advantage in the division race. Currently, they are in the lead by 3 games, however, are 0-1 in the division race. This win would give them a huge lead. I believe they won’t overlook their division foe and will lock in to get the win. The Niners need to find a defense if they want to compete. They can score points but averaging 37 points given up is a recipe for another top 10 pick.

NYJ 24 VS CAR 10 –

The Jets are coming off of a loss, while the Panthers are coming off of a win, however, I don’t think that changes the outcome of this game. The Jets need to win to compete in the AFC and I think that loss kicks them in gear in order to make the playoffs this season. Caleb will face a lot of pressure in this game, but I think he handles it well and gets the Jets a victory.

HOU 35 VS ATL 17 –

The choice to make the trade for Parsons has ruined the Falcons season. They are on a 4-game losing streak, and now facing one of the best defenses in the league, who are top 10 in all categories. The offense is led by one of the worst rated starting quarterbacks in the league and is a shell of its former self. The Falcons need a win soon if they don’t want to be known as making one of the worst trades in the history of the PML. Making a trade like that then missing the playoffs isn’t a good look, however, good for them is if they can win the next two games, then the rest are against teams currently under .500.

TEN  29 VS DEN 42 –

A one-win team versus a one loss team is generally a game that is a blowout. The Titans haven’t played as bad as their record shows, even in the last couple of weeks, the games have been close, however, it doesn’t matter in the end. Wins and losses are what matters, and the Titans are looking at picking in the top 5. If they want to change that then this week is the week it needs to happen. I think they keep this game close, but the Broncos get the win in the end.

LAC 35 VS NYG 20 –

The New York Giants are coming off of a bye week after just nearly upsetting the Green Bay Packers. The Giants should have won that game, but Ewers sold, much similar to his performance most of the season as he is one of the top leading quarterbacks in interceptions thrown this season. Los Angeles is coming off a big win over Houston this week, but with multiple pass rushers out, their pass rush has been stale. They are going to need some big bodies up front to stop the Giants dynamic offense. Jameson Williams adds an element to New York’s offense that defenses must remain honest. The days of pressing the receivers in New York are over because in one swell swoop, Jameson Williams and Stefon Diggs could be off to the races. LA will win this game, but New York will cover the spread.

LAR 28 VS ARI 14 –

The reigning Super Bowl champions are struggling this season, accumulating 5 losses already this season after the loss they suffered this week to the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams are clutching onto their playoff hopes and they need to make a run-in order to keep the three-peat alive. They are 1-2 in the division and one of those losses already came at the hands of the Cardinals. Arizona has looked a lot better in recent weeks, especially against their division opponents. LA is going to bounce back this week, because a 6th loss is going to put them in no man’s land this early in the season and they cannot afford that.

DAL 13 VS CHI 28 –

Chicago and Dallas are both sitting at 4-4. One leads their division in a timeshare, and another is fighting for their lives on the bottom. But, regardless, both teams are in the running for the playoffs. I think Jefe matches up better in this game. Losing Micah Parsons is a big blow and while the Cowboys nearly doubled on their return, none of those players are as game disruptive and changing as Parsons. This game will be as defensive as this Madden can be, with Chicago working the clock against Dallas. Statistically Dallas has the better defense this season on paper, but both defenses rank in the bottom 16 of the league, but this week they’re going to step up and this game will see at least 6 turnovers between both teams.

NO 38 VS TB 30 –

New Orleans is 3-1 against Cammy and his Buccaneers this cycle but in three of those games, the Buccaneers have kept it close. I think this is going to be another slobberknocker of a game. Kerby Joseph has been playing lights out all season and his trade to Tampa Bay has fueled the fire. He’s playing for a huge contract extension and Malik Murphy will have to keep his eyes open for this center fielder. Nonetheless, Murphy will prove too much and run the ball in for the go-ahead touchdown to help the Saints win this week.
