What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
This week we really focused on the run. Getting Najee going was a huge part of our gameplan and it paid off. On the defensive side of the ball, with Joe Burrow out, we focused on getting pressure on the QB and limiting their run game. I think the guys did a great job executing our gameplan this week. Now we're on the Minnesota.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Texans last week?
Roster and coach wise, the Texans are an elite bunch. They've been playing extremely well this season behind the arm of Cj Stroud. We knew going in we would have to limit their explosive plays. We did an extremely good job making plays and keeping them out of the endzone in the first half; giving us multi-TD lead. The Texans did a great job clawing their way, but we were able to maintain a lead and come away with a win.
What is the status of T.J. Watt and when is he set to return?
T.j Watt won't return until the first week of the post-season. He's grinding and doing everything in his power to make his way back in time for the playoffs.
Who is your quarterback, and why?
Zach Wilson, without a question. His arm talent along with his intellectual acumen make him an elite QB. He'll be our guy for the foreseeable future.
