Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Trevor Lawrence?
Lawrence can make every throw possible and has the mobility to get out of a bad situation. We'll have our hands full but it's a task we'll be up for. For certain QBs you don't hope to stop them, you just hope you can contain them for 4 quarters.
Did you scout Luther Burden III before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
We definitely had Burden on our draft board. What he did at Missouri was really special. And there's tons of special guys like that in the draft, and the picks end up the way they do. We're very happy with our pick but Burden was one of the guys we heavily considered.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
We're just trying to finish the season strong. I haven't done all the analytics and probability math to figure out our playoff percentages because we're only concerned with winning every game possible. Winning takes care of the details, so if it's meant to be, it'll happen. But for now we're only focused on the matchup currently in front of us.
