What is the status of D.K. Metcalf and when is he set to return?
DK will thankfully return next week for the open week. He is perhaps our most impactful player, and having him on the field adds a new dynamic to our offense.
What kind of player do you see when you look at C.J. Stroud?
We had the pleasure of coaching CJ last cycle and we absolutely can't say enough about his talent. He can make every throw with both precision and power, executes well under pressure, and also knows how to avoid turnovers and sacks. We are happy to see him thriving in Houston and hope he continues his success as the cycle goes on.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
We're focused on what lies ahead. With the one seed secured, we have a chance to get healthy before the stretch run, but we know we must also stay sharp or else we risk losing right after the wildcard round.
In retrospect, what would you have done differently against the Jaguars?
In hindsight, we would've absolutely taken our points when presented to us. Our starters might've also played, with the open week on the line, it was important for us to lock in a victory so we could rest key players the following week. We fortunately were able to rest some key starters in week 18 while also securing a victory. But in hindsight, we would've looked to put the Jaguars away early and coast to the finish line.
