How quickly can you tell if a young player is a football player if he thinks about it because it seems like at the Combine they’re all saying the right thing and it’s the job. How quickly does it take?
You can tell as soon as they run their 40 yard dash. To be honest they could be dumb as bricks, but if they clock in a 4.3 40 then they rise up the draft charts.
Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?
You can always improve your roster, the moment you become complacent is the moment you show weakness. We're scouting this draft class for sure, but I can't tell you what positions because I can't leak this confidential information to the zero people who are gonna read this.
The team has been very fortunate in terms of injuries so far this season. You currently have no one injured. Can you point to any specific thing you've done to keep the roster generally healthy to this point?
We're making sure no one does full contact practices during the offseason. You can't be having that. Forget that, you can't ride a motorcyle and pull a Big Ben in Rams House either.
