Can you talk about the development of Jared Brown so far?

Jared was the surprise of the offseason for us in all honesty. Projected as a top 5 WR in terms of pure talent in this draft, it was anticipated that he would not last until pick 29. However, due to a league-wide desire for speed from the wide receiver position (and rightfully so), Jared fell to us due to his average combine numbers. We could not be happier with his physicals and intangibles as he comes in as the best route-running WR in his class and will be a day 1 starter for us. We are excited to see how he performs in year 1 as he will play the Z WR role in our offense.

How has Tre'Davious White’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

We're extremely excited for what Tre will bring to the slot corner position this season. Not only will his experience help our young corners, he will play a pivotal role in our nickel defense as the slot corner, preparing Will Johnson for season 5. He should have a big impact here.

Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?

I think we've done a very good job of building a good roster. While we are young in a few places and have some work to do, we believe we have one of the best DB rooms in the country and easily a top 5 running back room. Our WR core is strong and we hope to have a better performance this year than last year.
