What kind of player do you see when you look at Anthony Richardson?

He's got a great combination of size, speed, and athleticism, which makes him a threat both as a passer and a runner. His ability to extend plays and make things happen on the field is impressive. I'd want to continue developing his skills and use his talents strategically to maximize our offensive production.

How quickly can you tell if a young player is a football player if he thinks about it because it seems like at the Combine they’re all saying the right thing and it’s the job. How quickly does it take?

Assessing whether a young player is a "football player" requires looking beyond surface impressions. While Combine interviews and initial practices can offer glimpses, it takes time to truly understand a player's instincts and potential.

Watching them on the field during practices, scrimmages, and games reveals crucial insights. It's about seeing their football IQ, instincts, technique, athleticism, and ability to execute under pressure.

Consistency is key. How they perform consistently over time, their effort, and their attitude all matter. Genuine "football players" show up consistently and contribute.

Adaptability is another aspect. Football demands adjusting to various situations, opponents, and strategies. How well a player adapts and learns speaks volumes about their potential.

Work ethic is non-negotiable. A strong work ethic, dedication to improvement, and willingness to go the extra mile are traits of true football players.

While initial impressions matter, true assessment often unfolds over a season or more. It's a continuous process of observation, evaluation, and development to identify those who have what it takes to excel at the highest level.

What stands out about your opponent's offense?

Our opponent's offense is notable for their frequent audibles and play flips. This shows adaptability and strategic thinking on their part. We'll need to be prepared defensively, focusing on communication, disguising our looks, and staying disciplined to counter their tactics effectively.
