Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Chiefs last week?
We were happy to come out victorious in a rain game against the Chiefs. I thought we did a great job of executing our gameplan, and didn't allow ourselves to get gashed but one time with a big play. The defense played lights out, forcing 6+ fumbles on the day and eliminating the Chiefs offense entirely. While I would've loved for our offense to move the ball through the air at a more efficient clip, the running game did more than enough to carry us through
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Christian Gonzalez?
Christian is easily a top 3 cornerback in our league. He has everything you could want in a corner and we will have to be aware of where he is on the field each and every snap. The Patriots secondary as a whole is insane and can disrupt gameplans entirely. I'm excited to see how my team responds to the challenge awaiting us.
How much of a problem is Barryn Sorrell on the defensive line?
Barryn is one of those players that can disrupt everything an offense wants to do. He's an elite pass rusher that will also make incredible plays in the run game. You pair this with the fact the the Patriots have other disruptors such as Keion White and Leonard Taylor, and you have a terrifying defense.
