Transcript: Colts Head Coach Press Conference

What is the status of Jonathan Taylor and when is he set to return?

Taylor is dealing with an ankle injury and I'm not sure when he'll be back. All we can do is listen to what the medical experts are telling us and hope that JT is doing what he should be doing to get back out there as soon as possible. His presence is missed tremendously.

What were some of the contributing factors to the loss this week?

It was just a tough matchup and we didn't do ourselves any favors by turning the ball over early. That's a team with a lot of firepower. I'm not going to make any more excuses about the roster because at the end of the day everyone has injuries. We just have to figure out a way to play with them and to win with them.

Your team is one of the oldest teams in the league in terms of average age. How do you feel about the future of this team while not having as many young players as other teams? Do you think having an older team has its benefits?

Age is not something we think about when it comes to talent. We know our roster has certain needs and our GM's job is to fill those needs regardless of age. It's nice to have veterans that have been around the league for a while. It's good for our young guys.
