How do you see the competition level in the NFC West currently?
It looks like the division is going to come down to ourselves and Seattle for the division crown. As per usual every year, it's gonna take a barbaric effort to win the NFC West with a 12 win minimum set once again. Arizona has improved this season but are still struggling for consistency, while the 49ers seem locked into a vicious rebuild that doesn't seem like it will come into fruition until next season at the earliest.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
The mood is upbeat. These guys believe in each other, which is all we need. But there's a little bit of exhaustion. The Week 14 bye is starting to cause some wear and tear and we need to get to the week off to recuperate.
As far as complementary football, what the offense and the defense are doing as we look at dominating games, how do you feel you guys are getting close to that point, as far as complete domination from start to finish?
I feel like we use a yo-yo to determine whether we will be offensive minded or defensive minded. The last 2 weeks we've been in offensive shootouts where our defense didn't look great, but the few weeks beforehand it was our defense carrying our lackadaisical offense
