We predicted the Jags would go 2-2 in their first 4 games so now lets see where we are after those games.
Trevor Lawrence and offense have been must see TV with their offense averaging 42 points (3 games actually played). Travis Etienne has been on fire avg almost 7 yard a carry and has total 669 yards for 7 tds. The Jags # WR is not been Burden or Mitchell but it has been Preseason acquisition Marvin Mims jr who has 21 catches for 407 yards 4 Tds. The biggest problem i have seen from this offense so far is sometimes Trevor Lawrence likes to hold ball sometimes to maximize plays but by time the routes get open the opposing defense has already got to him or he throws ball late resulting in drops or INTS. If Trevor Lawrence can keep up this high pace offense and cut down on turnovers who knows where this offense can go.
They say you’re only as strong as your weakest link and Jags defense might be the death of them letting up avg of 40 points (in games played). The Jags pass rush has been able to get to opposing QBS but the secondary for jags has struggled to start the year allowing Caleb Williams, Arch Manning and Anthony Richardson to total over 900 yards in the air. For the Jags to have any chance of real success this year their defense will have to get more than 2 stops in a game you can not rely on your offense to score 42 points every game.

Week 5- the Jags just Lost a FS to defending Superbowl Champions Saints
Week 6 Jags will face divisional rival the Titans who are 1-4 but who have the best running game in PML and #11 ranked defense this will definitely be interesting divisional game. But I believe the Jags will be able to contain the Titans lethal run game. I like the Jags at home 35-32
Week 7- Bye week
week 8 Jags will face Two time PML AFC Champion Patriots in New England. Patriots at time of this article are 5-0 and have top 5 offense and defense and their strongest attack is passing. I Don’t Like Jags chances in this game with the way the defense is playing i give final score of 42-30. Jags make score look better with garbage time points
If these predictions are to be correct Jags would sit at 3-4. Again the key to success for this underdog team is getting offense cut down on turnovers and this defense actually learning to play defense
