How much of a problem is Dexter Lawrence II on the defensive line?
He is a huge problem. His ability to completely ensure that an inside run isnt effective is game changing. You have to scheme around him and thats exactly what we did with our rpo offense that we came into the game with but it failed miserably.
Did you scout Malik Nabers before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
Nabers is one of the best rookie wide receivers to come out of this draft class. He will be a superstar in the league for years to come. He is the Giants offense and we had Slay follow him around the field. Nabers was contained in this game but that was also due to the fact that the Giants had no reason to throw. Hurts and the offense gift wrapped 6 interceptions.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC East currently?
The NFC East is one of the three divisions where all teams are over .500 at the moment. Anyone of the teams in the east can win the division. It will come down to division games to see who the winner will be. Currently, the Giants have wins over the Cowboys and Eagles, but a loss to the Commanders. In both the Eagles and Cowboys game, the Giants defense forced 6 interceptions. If the defense can force turnovers and Daniel Jones can limit them just like in these games then they are looking like the current division favorite.
