The key to victory was winning the turnover battle. Understanding the Texans tendencies and desire to throw to the RB underneath allowed us to wait for those routes and jump them with the safeties.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like C.J. Stroud?
Stroud can do it all, and the goal is to get to him as soon as possible. The plan is to disguise coverages to give us that extra half second of processing time as an opportunity to get home with the pass rush.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC North currently?
It is the best it has ever been. Each team will find their identity at different points in the season, and you have to be prepared for each matchup. I would expect three playoff teams come from this division.
