What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
Our defense and our ability to capitalize on turnovers. Our defense played lights out, forcing multiple turnovers and limiting the Jets' offense. Offensively, we were efficient and took care of the football. We also made some big plays in the passing game, which helped us extend the lead comfortably.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Sauce Gardner?
It's a huge challenge. He's a shutdown cornerback with incredible athleticism and ball skills. He's been a dominant force in the league, and he presented a tough matchup for our wide receivers. They needed to be disciplined and find ways to create separation. It was a great battle, and I'm pleased by how our receivers responded.
What is the status of Jelani Woods and when is he set to return?
Jelani Woods is still out. We're hopeful that he'll be able to return to practice soon, but there's no definitive timeline for his return to the field. We'll continue to monitor his progress and make a decision based on how he responds to treatment.
