What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
It was a "win and in" situation, as simple as that. Our guys knew what was at stake, and what more can you ask for but to control your own destiny? Super proud of how they went out there and executed in all three phases. Feels good to hang a division banner up.
Can you talk about the development of Laiatu Latu so far?
We're really happy he was finally able to get his first sack. It's a testament to how much work he's put in and how mentally resilient he's been. And sacks only tell a small part of the story for an edge. I think he's up to like 15 tackles for a loss, which is great. And I haven't checked the numbers but I'm sure his pass rush win rate is pretty high. He's only going to continue to get better and I know he's going to make his mark in the league.
How has Joe Flacco’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Joe was huge. With Anthony going down in the first quarter Joe didn't blink. And stuff like that only comes with years and years of experience. I don't think it's a hot take to say we have the best backup quarterback in the league. Sure there's some slight adjustments we need to make to the scheme as far as not having the run threat, but Joe is as solid as they come.
