LA Rams Offseason Preview

pThe Los Angeles Rams started the season hot, but cooled off quickly and ending up falling to a 6-11 record. This team is very old and has a lot of work to do this offseason to reset the direction of this team if that is what they are looking to do. In what could potentially be his last season Matthew Stafford put up 5609 yards, 37 TD and 35 INT. The ground game was extremely ineffective as no running back averaged more than 3.8 yards per carry. Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp were still dominant at WR as they both finished with 1304 yards and double digit touchdowns. Kobie Turner was elite on the defensive line with 22 TFL and 11.5 sacks, but the rookie duo of Jared Verse and Braden Fiske only combined for 3.5 sacks. The defense did not force many turnovers either.

Offseason Summary:
The Rams may have the worst future outlook in terms of roster building out of all the teams in the league. The roster is aging, their recent draft picks have been old, and they do not have a surplus of draft picks. The likely want to move on from Stafford at QB, but they may need to move down in the draft to replenish the rest of their roster. The good news for them is that any player they draft will fill a need. They still will not be able to spend a lot in free agency. The Rams have their work cut out for them this offseason for sure, but Fallen is a good roster builder and should be up for the challenge.p
