How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?

We gotta focus on what we do best and not what we think they are preparing for.

Fun just fun

Can you talk about the development of Emery Jones Jr. so far?

he is becoming a star on the interior of the OL

Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Micah Parsons?

Just gotta hope and pray you can block him enough

How has Kevin Zeitler’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

helping the young guys has been his focus and its been working

What is the status of Penei Sewell and when is he set to return?

Hès progressing on schedule he will be back in a few weeks

Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?

Its all mental you have to be able to turn the page after a miscue

How much of an impact is it to lose a player like Penei Sewell to injury?

its huge we have a guard playing tackle now

What were some of the contributing factors to the loss this week?

Poor communication on defense

RB Jahmyr Gibbs is so impressive, how hard he runs is so apparent. What else about his skill set makes him special?

HIs vision

How quickly can you tell if a young player is a football player if he thinks about it because it seems like at the Combine they’re all saying the right thing and it’s the job. How quickly does it take?

Pretty quick if they struggle in camp with everything going on/

The offense in general is having a bit of a slow start, but it’s early and there’s still a lot of talent on that side of the ball. So is your thought process that it’ll work itself out and the points will come or do you feel like you need to change something, fix something?

I think in this situation, a balanced approach works best. You don’t want to overreact too early, but addressing key areas can help you avoid bad habits becoming bigger problems. You can work with Moss on speeding up his decision-making process, maybe simplifying some reads or focusing on quicker releases. For the O-line, emphasizing technique in pass protection drills could help them maintain their blocks for just that extra beat.

I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR Amon-Ra St. Brown sort of factor into that perspective?

The receiver position has evolved to become a focal point in modern offenses, with passing games becoming more dynamic and versatile. Having a player like Amon-Ra St. Brown amplifies that importance—his route-running, reliability, and ability to create separation give the offense flexibility and a go-to option in critical situations. St. Brown’s consistency allows the entire offense to open up, making him a key piece in today’s more receiver-driven game.

Did you scout Treveyon Henderson before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?

yes he's a ready made blocker

How do you see the competition level in the NFC North currently?

tough its gonna be tough

Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?

we do have a great roster just gotta execute better

Many rank your offensive line as one of the best in the league. How important is having a great offensive line?

without it u can see your qb gets smashed and there is no running lanes

Can you speak to the overall team health?

we have 4 guys hurt just all 4 are key guys
