Seahawks Shift Into Overdrive After Panthers’ End Zone Celebration

The Seattle Seahawks entered Carolina with a clear mindset: respect the opponent, play their game, and leave with a win. It was the kind of professional approach you’d expect from a team focused on making a playoff appearance . But what began as a competitive clash quickly turned into a lopsided statement after a moment of unexpected theatrics from the Panthers.

The Play happened on first drive for Seahawks in first quarter. A miscommunication between the Seahawks quarterback and receiver led to an overthrow in the end zone. It was a missed opportunity for Seattle, but instead of simply moving on to the next play, a Panthers defender broke out into an elaborate celebration, dancing in the end zone as if he’d won game. He was quickly popped and fumbled ball in end zone for a Touchdown for Seattle.

The celebration wasn’t lost on the Seahawks sideline. According to sources, their head coach, typically calm and focused on execution, delivered a fiery message during the next break. “We came in here with respect,” he reportedly told the team. “But if that’s how they want to play, then we’re done holding back. No mercy.”

From that moment on, the Seahawks flipped the switch.

Seahawks defense while it gave up big plays continued to lay boom on panthers offensive players showing them every yard was gonna be hard earned and times where defense got turnovers and scored defense made sure to boogie down.

offense did great to with return of Kenneth Walker who had over 200 yards and two touchdowns on one leagues best rushing defenses.

The war of words between the two coaches is well warranted Panthers were frustrated that the defensive and offensive game-plan led to many mistakes and Seahawks were frustrated that opponent would be so disrespectful and outright silly dancing after getting one int that should’ve been TD.

Coach Bowers after game was quoted saying “I understand Panthers coach might be little upset at us but what do u expect to happen when you showboat it’s nothing personal against him but the dancing just rubbed us wrong way and it gave us extra motivation to win the game. Yes I told my team don’t show no mercy and Yes I was talking trash it’s reminded me of when Drew Locke did that silly celebration vs Texas then Texas ended up beating Missouri and Texas coach and players mocked him. Again you can’t talk smack or in this case dance and not expect repercussions but I’m done with this I won’t speak on matter more we are on to Arizona for our playoff matchup”

Seattle will look go 3-0 vs Arizona this season with hopefully getting victory in wildcard rd
