How is the team handling the bye week this week?
This first week of FA is a big week for us. We have some trades that we'd like to submit to the league office for approval. Once these moves are completed then we can have a clear, concise focus on who we'd like to pick up from free agency. We're handling it well but this is a big week for us
How quickly can you tell if a young player is a football player if he thinks about it because it seems like at the Combine they’re all saying the right thing and it’s the job. How quickly does it take?
It doesn't take long. Usually the way a player goes about preparing for their job can tell you alot about whether they're not u ilt.for this job. Football isn't something you magically become good at. It takes alot of hard work, dedication, and tunnel vision. Combine and pro day performances can be an indication into just how serious these athletes are about making it to the next level.
Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?
I agree we are one of the more top heavy teams in the league when it comes to our talent on paper. Unfortunately games aren't won on paper but rather on the field. So we have to make what's on the roster match up with what we put on the field.
