Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
Being a well coached team that understands the importance of each singular player doing what they’re supposed to do on every snap is paramount to limiting turnovers. Being completely focused every time you’re in the game is what we require in Pittsburgh. Discipline and focus are what we preach and that’s all we can do to prevent stupid mistakes.
Is quarterback a priority for this team in the upcoming draft?
As we go through the season we evaluate the value each player has for us and if their value is increasing or decreasing. Justin is playing on the tag and we played significantly better with him on the field. As we get closer to the offseason we’ll see.
Who is your quarterback, and why?
Justin is our QB. He had a great bounce back season and kind of flew under the radar a bit. Even missing 5 games he had 46 total TDs and over 4k yards. He’s a playmaker for our offense and has elite speed that few others have in this league.
