What does it mean to you or the team to have such a great winning record at home this season?
It means a lot to the team and especially to the fans that come to support us every week. Not many teams can say they only had 1 loss at home the whole season. But just because we were great at home doesn't mean we can slack off when we are on the road and we hope to improve that.
How is the team handling the bye week this week?
Just cut week this week so we have the people remaining on this roster relaxing in the facility getting their bodies right for the regular season. Unfortunately we had to put some people on the practice squad or straight up release people. It really sucks that we have to get rid of some people we truly wish we can keep everyone but unfortunately we can't. We got to make sure that we can put out the best 53 that we can and I believe we did that.
Can you talk about the development of Diego Pounds so far?
He's been filling in real nice at the LT position. We didn't have a pick until the third round because we traded out of the second and we were astonished that he was able to fall to us. He's got tremendous size and natural ability we just need to work a little bit more on the fundamentals and soon he'll become one of the best LTs in the league.
