What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
We were able to do something we couldn't do last year. RUN THE BALL. We stayed on schedule and dominated the line of scrimmage. It took a lot of pressure off the defense. Rashod had a great game and Justin looked just fine after rehabbing a broken ankle this offseason.
Can you talk about the development of Rashod Dubinion so far?
After his week 1 outing he's developing well. He put the time in to learn the offense quickly and shined in his first ever start. We expect him to continue to be get better. Big shoutout to Najee. Hes a veteran on this team and has taken Rashod under his wing rather than complaining about less reps. Rashod has done great work but theres multiple factors that created his success.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Zay Flowers?
We know Zay very well from his Baltimore days and hes a dynamic playmaker. His speed is dangerous and has fine tuned his route running. Hes one of the many weapons Tennessee has and so finding the most efficient way to allocate resources to prevent his success was a challenge. We did a good job considering we got the W.
