As we reach the midway point of the season, injuries continue to impact teams across the league. This week, several new names have been added to the injury list, while some key players are nearing their return to action.

New Additions to the Injury Report

  1. Oscar Delp (TE, LAR) – Upper Arm Fracture (4 weeks)
    • The Rams’ standout tight end suffered an upper arm fracture, sidelining him for at least four weeks. His absence will challenge the offense, as Delp has been a critical part of their passing attack.
  2. Dexter Lawrence II (DT, NYG) – Broken Thumb (4 weeks)
    • The Giants’ defensive anchor will miss four weeks with a broken thumb. His absence will be felt in the run defense, as he has been a dominant force on the interior line.
  3. Jalen Carter (RE, PHI) – Broken Thumb (4 weeks)
    • Another significant defensive loss, Carter will miss time for the Eagles as he recovers from a broken thumb. The Eagles’ pass rush will need to adjust in his absence.
  4. Justin Herbert (QB, LAC) – Torn Labrum (4 weeks)
    • A major setback for the Chargers, as their franchise quarterback will be out with a torn labrum. With Herbert sidelined, the offense will have to rely on its backup signal-caller.
  5. Kyle Hamilton (SS, BAL) – Hip Pointer (1 week)
    • Fortunately for the Ravens, Hamilton’s injury is minor, and he is expected to return next week. His presence in the secondary is crucial for Baltimore’s defense.
  6. Rome Odunze (WR, CHI) – Dislocated Shoulder (1 week)
    • The Bears’ young receiver is close to making his return after missing time with a dislocated shoulder. He should be available in Week 10 barring any setbacks.
  7. Chop Robinson (LE, MIA) – Dislocated Hip (4 weeks)
    • Miami’s pass rush takes a hit with Robinson’s injury. The Dolphins will need to adjust their defensive front in his absence.
  8. Carnell Tate (WR, DET) – Foot Fracture (4 weeks)
    • Detroit loses another weapon in the receiving corps, as Tate will be sidelined for the next month with a foot fracture.
