Coming off a tough loss to Miami, the Gators fandom gets a big win in the form of four star recruit Emari Peace. Peace is a pure Power edge with 86 strength, 82 acceleration, and 85 hit power. His 66 speed will probably keep him on the interior of the line but his pass rush ability should allow him to get to the passer. Standing at 6’3 and 259 lbs he still has room to grow into his frame. Previously the Gators landed four star recruit Ben Nembot. He was a top 15 guard in the nation. 6’2 and a stout 311 lbs he will fit in well with the gators power run scheme. He has an inside track to playing time next year as he will be an early enrollee.
This week will be a big test for the gators season and future. Number 1 team in the nation Texas comes to town as the Gators have four massive recruits coming to watch. If the Gators can pull the upset expect these recruits to be convinced to sign soon.
The Gators are currently close on several four star recruits, as well as some three star recruits. If the Gators can land a few more early commits they have a chance at a top 25 recruiting cycle this season.
