Led by quarterback Dak Prescott’s efficient passing, a dominant ground game from Javonte Williams, and a defense that forced four turnovers, the Cowboys improve to 4 – 2 on the season.
Prescott Efficient Through the Air
Dak Prescott delivered a steady performance, completing 17 of 25 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns while tossing one interception. He kept the offense balanced and explosive, highlighted by an 81-yard touchdown to rookie Jaydon Blue that broke the game open. Prescott finished with a 122.6 passer rating, taking what the defense gave him and capitalizing on Carolina’s mistakes.
Williams Runs Wild
Running back Javonte Williams set the tone on the ground, rushing 13 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns (9.6 avg). His physical running style and ability to break tackles (35 yards after contact) kept the Panthers off balance all game. Rookie Jaydon Blue added 35 yards on 7 carries, while Prescott chipped in with 13 rushing yards.

Jaydon Blue’s breakout continued in Week 6 as the rookie flashed his big-play ability. He finished with 3 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown, including the 81-yard strike from Prescott.
