Even in defeat, Coach Miles made history.
After a jaw-dropping 69–63 thriller between the Jaguars and Cardinals, Jaguars head coach Coach Ke didn’t hold back his words. Standing at the podium postgame, he delivered one of the boldest statements PML has ever heard:
“Coach Miles is the greatest offensive mind to ever grace PML.”
And he had the stats to back it up.
Miles’ Cardinals offense ripped apart the #1 ranked defense in the league, putting up 63 points and 591 total yards, including 444 passing yards and 8 touchdowns from Kyler Murray. Rookie halfback Trey Benson added 86 yards on 17 carries, while tight end Trey McBride and receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. took turns slicing through coverage.
This wasn’t just another shootout — it was a masterclass. Against a defense that led the league in both points allowed (24 PPG) and rushing yards allowed (63.6 YPG), Miles engineered the most points ever scored on a Coach Ke team in PML history.
On the other sideline, Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr. did everything they could to keep pace, connecting for an absurd 11 receptions, 320 yards, and 6 touchdowns. But even that historic performance couldn’t overshadow what Coach Miles accomplished.
In the locker room afterward, Ke wasn’t angry — he was in disbelief. Sources say the Jaguars coach has been “scrambling for answers and watching the tape on repeat,” trying to decode how Miles managed to dissect every look, every adjustment, every coverage shell.
“He had me chasing ghosts,” Ke admitted. “Every time I thought I had him figured out, he shifted into something else. That’s what greatness looks like.”
Now, around the league, whispers have turned into declarations. What Coach Miles did wasn’t just impressive — it was transformative.
The question isn’t whether he’s elite anymore.
The question is whether we’ve just witnessed the birth of a PML legend.
