Road to 1K: HBs (And Anthony Richardson)

In this brief write-up, I’ll review the running backs and lone quarterback in PML who have hit one thousand yards on the season, and those trying to get that bonus money and pride by the end of the season.

Potential 2K Club

Saquon Barkley

He could have his own tier because it isn’t potential; it is 2000 yards on the ground.

Ashton Jeanty

Already up to a 94 overall as a rookie. He’s producing alright.

Easy One Thousand

Breece Hall

Arod is one of the guys you can always count on to decently balance run and pass.

Treyveon Henderson

The rookie is being effective now that New England moved on from old and slow.

Jahmyr Gibbs

He’s justifying his 12th overall selection in the draft in PML and real life.

Trey Benson

He’s built like the running back you want to roster with all that size, speed, and strength.

Kenneth Walker III

CB trained with Jonathan Taylor, so I’m sure K9 will be a frequent member of the 1k club.

Chase Brown

Was so electric in college, hopefully he can be that guy in PML long-term.

Anthony Richardson Sr

Actually nuts, I haven’t played the Colts to see where these rush yards are coming from so consistently.

Derrick Henry

The King gets such an easy ride playing with Lamar and Baltimore.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! The rookie is a sensation.

Christian McCaffrey

CMC is probably regressing in a season or two, so good to see him get used up.

Jonathan Taylor

Less yards than Anthony Richardson, but not much to compare with two different 1k rushers.

Josh Jacobs

His move to Green Bay was a wise career choice, he’s benefited from it.

Quinshon Judkins

Judkins is doing his best in Cleveland as part of an all-rookie backfield.

Will They, Won’t They

De’Von Achane

Achane’s only hurdle is getting enough carries. At 7.7 YPC it’d be dumb to say no.

James Cook III

The opposite of Achane with a lot of carries and a lower YPC, I think he still hits it off of the volume.

Javonte Williams

The Cowboys need to win and fast, so I think Williams falls short after being forgotten for the pass.

Bucky Irving

The young phenom won’t get there as the Bucs pass until the season ends.

Nate Carter

This young phenom will get there. DK is showing good balance and great running recently.

D’Andre Swift

The Bears don’t run enough to guarantee it, but he’s on pace.

Velus Jones Jr

Sickening to see this man produce so well. He won’t hit 1k though as Deebo taps out on season 1.

Aaron Jones Sr

Similar to Dallas, the Vikings need to win. Unlike Dallas, I think they utilize their RB to do it and Jones hits the one thousand yard mark

RJ Harvey

Another potential victim of a pass-heavy offense. Harvey has plenty of receiving yards and it probably contributes to him coming up short.

Lamar Jackson

He’s killing it with his runs at 11.7 YPC, but that’s too unsustainable for me to say yes by the end of the season.

Bijan Robinson

It’s really surprising, but I guess he’s mainly a pass catcher now. Prove me wrong and hit 1k rushing yards HD!

Tony Pollard

Pollard hasn’t been anything special in Tennessee and I trust he’ll be ignored down the stretch in favor of developing Cam Ward.
