Premier Madden League Season 1 Award Winners

With the PML season wrapping up, we’ve arrived at everyone’s favorite time of the season, the playoffs. Part of this time honored tradition is recognize the regular season achievements of individuals stand out players around the league. With just one game remaining to be played, here are the projected award winners, and stat leaders of season 1.

MVP: Caleb Williams – Leading the Chicago Bears to a 9-8 record in the highly competitive NFC North, Caleb finishes ahead of Trevor Lawrence in the MVP race after passing for a near lead leading 6,591 yards with 63 TD’s in the air, adding another 15 on the ground.

Most Passing Yards: Jordan Love finishes the season with 6,592 yards, one more than MVP Caleb Williams

Most Rushing Yards: Saquon Barkley lead all rushers this season with 2,254 yards on the ground with a league leading 31 TD’s. 7 more than the next closest rushers.

Most Receiving Yards: Nicki Collins finished the season with 1,897 yards which was 61 yards more than Malik Nabers. Nabers also finished the year with the most receptions at 110.

Most Tackles: Rookie LB Cody Simon had a monster year for the Cardinals, finishing with 163 tackles, 104 of which were assisted.

Most TFL’s: Houston Texans DE Will Anderson wreaked havoc in back fields this season tallying up 35, TFL’s and ending the season with 15 sacks.

Most Sacks: TJ Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers ended the year with 16 sacks, which was 1 more than 2nd pace finisher Will Anderson.

Most INT’s: Nick Cross of the Indianapolis Colts finished with 11 ints. Edging out 49ers MLB Fred Warner, and Cleveland Browns MLB Carson S who both had 10 ints.

Most Pass Deflections: Jack Jones of the Miami Dolphins was the highlight of his teams defense finishing with 14 Deflections.

Most Forced Fumbles: Kyle Dugger of the Patriots, Devin White of the Raiders, Sydney Brown of the Eagles, and Cody Simon of the Cardinals all laid major wood to their opponents this season, all ending in a tie for 1st place with 4 fumbles caused.

Most Fumble Recoveries: Jack Cambell of Detroit, Justin Reid of New Orleans, Jayson Johnson of Chicago and Kamren Curl were grabbing loose balls all year, finishing the season with 3 recoveries a piece.

Most FG’s Attempted/Made: Joshua Karty of the stalling Los Angeles Rams finished the year atop both categories with 28 makes on 30 attempts.

Most Punts/Yards/Inside 20: Rookie Kai Kroeger of the Saints punted 41 times behind an inept offense in New Orleans and he also finished with the most yards. Bradley Pinion of the Falcons finished with an impressive 10 kicks forcing opponents to take over inside their own 20.

Kick Return Yards/TD’s: The specialists of the special teams units this year were Xavier Worthy of the Chiefs, who finished with 5 td’s on returns this year, while the Saints Rashid Shaheed finished with 1,474 return yards.

Punt Return Yards/TD’s: Anthony Gould of the Colts proved his worth, returning 2 kicks for TD’s tor year while also finishing with the most Yards with 239.
