Bucks stun C**** after 28-0 first half deficit!

The Ohio State Buckeyes trailed 28-0 in Avery Johnson’s first home game with the new squad. The offense couldn’t find a beat against the South Carolina defense and found themselves down early and nothing going their way. Heavy rains made it impossible for the receivers to catch the ball, leading to numerous drops stalling the offense.

Buckeyes started the 2nd half with the ball and that’s where things started looking alright. Down 31-7 they go down the field and start scoring. We had a totoslly different offense out there it seemed with the defense finally showing they wanted to also play. In the second half OSU outscored SC 45-20 to win the game with :05 left on the clock after a GW FG. Thanks to Avery Johnson, Jeremiah Smith, Brandon Innis and Carnell Tate the Shoe was going bananas for this team. Defensively we saw a few turnovers by SC and forced 4 second half punts.

Avery Johnson was 35/55 (63%) 559 yards and 5 TDs with zero turnovers once again. The two headed dragon of Jackson and Peoples were 20 for 99 yards and a TD with Avery adding 21 yards of his own. The Heisman runner up last year Jeremiah Smith ended with 8 catches for 245 yards and 3 TDs. This is a guy you just cannot leave one on one let alone press coverage with no help. Innis and Tate adding TDs as well.

South Carolina Senior QB Tayven Jackson has a game of how own going 15/24 (62%) 436 yards and 5 TDs with a fumble on his resume. Top WR Prospect Nyck Harbor finished 4-145-3 as he squared off against Jeremiah who is also a Top WR prospect for this upcoming draft. It’ll be interesting to see where they end up and how they finish their senior season.
