A look at the Chicago Bears’ scouting of offensive linemen, which is split into three tiers: First Round Talent, Round 2-3 Talent, and Late Round Talent. Each position’s scouting takes into account attributes, most importantly, physicals and age second, and ddt third, along with factoring in personal preferences and who fits the scheme or mold of a Monster of the Midway.

Ola Ioane
Francis Mauigoa

My round one scouting was on point as those were some clear cut beasts who can play any position and have a good chance at a dev of star or better. And in the end, only four offensive linemen went in round one and they were the same four I had that grade on. Hats off to the league for hitting consensus well here and the users for drafting (and me for getting it right even if I didn’t draft them). On the outside, I missed Walker Parks because of his age and I personally waited too long that I did some in-draft scouting and passed on Deery and Rutledge for other late round prospects. I’m excited to see which random linemen get devs, could make my scouting here look better. Stay tuned for defense tomorrow, which is what I really spent my time on.
