The first depth chart for Chicago’s upcoming 2026-2027 campaign has been released to the public. Let’s look at who made the final 53 with a chance to be active on gameday, and how they ended up on the Monsters of the Midway.
Offense
QB1: Caleb Williams
Former 1.1 drafted by the Bears, but the pick was from Carolina, from Chicago’s trade with the Panthers that landed them Bryce young.
QB2: Robby Ashford
Drafted at 7.16 just this past off-season in the 2026 draft.
RB1: Israel Abanikanda
Was protected on the Bears’ practice squad all of last season, on a two-year futures contract now.
3DRB: D’Andre Swift
Signed a 3-year contract with Chicago before the 2024 season. Now in his final year of a bloated contract.
PWHB: Tyrion Davis-Price
Signed in the third period of free agency, then dropped for Nick Chubb, then re-signed once Chubb went down for the season.
WR1: Rome Odunze
Drafted by the Bears at 1.9 alongside Caleb Williams just a couple of seasons ago.
WR2: Luther Burden III
Drafted by Chicago in the second round of the 2025 draft after he fell further than people expected.
WR3 + Slot WR + Gadget: DJ Moore
Part of the blockbuster trade with the Carolina Panthers that ended up bringing DJ Moore his best ever QB play with Caleb Williams. Signed an extension with Chicago.

Signed by the Bears to a two-year deal in the last period of free agency during this past offseason.
WR5: Jahdae Walker
Signed a three-year deal with the Bears as an undrafted free agent before the 2025 season.
