PCFB Recruiting Update — Week 10

Georgia Holds No. 1 Spot as National Recruiting Landscape Tightens

With conference races heating up and playoff talk taking over the national conversation, the recruiting trail has become just as chaotic — and just as compelling. Week 10 gives us our latest look at the top recruiting classes in the country, and the leaderboard is beginning to take shape as powerhouse programs, rising contenders, and new surprises battle for positioning.

The newest rankings show Georgia maintaining its grip on the No. 1 spot, while Clemson, Penn State, and Cal continue to keep pressure on the Bulldogs. Meanwhile, programs like Miami, Alabama, and Michigan State have quietly built classes that could define the next era of PCFB football.

Here’s a breakdown of the Top 14 classes nationally and what each ranking means moving forward.

1. Georgia – 19 Commits | 2 Five-Stars | 16 Four-Stars | 234.15 Pts

Georgia once again sits atop the mountain. With an incredible 16 four-star recruits, the Bulldogs’ class is built on depth, balance, and SEC-level physicality. Add in two elite five-stars, and it’s no surprise Georgia is pulling away with the top score in the nation.

This is a class that screams reload, not rebuild. Kirby Smart continues to weaponize the recruiting trail, and the Bulldogs’ defensive pipeline looks poised to dominate for years.

2. Clemson – 13 Commits | 3 Five-Stars | 10 Four-Stars | 213.45 Pts

Clemson boasts the most five-stars in the country (3), giving them arguably the highest ceiling of any class inside the Top 10. Their 10 four-stars complement that elite top-end talent, forming what may be Dabo Swinney’s strongest class since his championship years.

They may not have Georgia’s quantity, but the quality is undeniable.

3. Penn State – 11 Commits | 2 Five-Stars | 8 Four-Stars | 190.95 Pts

Penn State sits comfortably at No. 3 with a compact yet elite class. Eleven total recruits, 10 of them blue-chip, highlight James Franklin’s continued growth on the national stage. Penn State has recruited extremely effectively in recent cycles, and this group only strengthens their long-term outlook.

4. California – 12 Commits | 1 Five-Star | 8 Four-Stars | 3 Three-Stars | 187.30 Pts

Cal may be the biggest surprise in the Top 5.

A combination of West Coast dominance and stellar player evaluation has put the Golden Bears in rarefied air. With nine blue-chip recruits, Cal is building a class strong enough to compete with the big boys — and the rest of the country is starting to take notice.

5. Miami – 11 Commits | 1 Five-Star | 10 Four-Stars | 186.00 Pts

Miami sits at No. 5, and while they trail Cal by only a single point, their profile looks even more balanced. Nearly their entire class is composed of four-star recruits, giving the Hurricanes one of the most consistent groups in the nation.

If Miami can close strong, don’t be shocked if they push for the Top 3 by season’s end.

6. Alabama – 9 Commits | 1 Five-Star | 8 Four-Stars | 163.00 Pts

A smaller class, but vintage Alabama: elite quality across the board.

Nine commits. Nine blue-chips.
Nick Saban (or his successor, depending on your dynasty settings) is clearly swinging for precision more than volume. Don’t let the ranking fool you — this class has monster potential once the Crimson Tide inevitably close on additional elite targets late in the cycle.

7. Michigan State – 9 Commits | 1 Five-Star | 7 Four-Stars | 1 Three-Star | 159.65 Pts

One of the best stories of the cycle so far.

Michigan State has cracked the Top 7 thanks to a near-flawless hit rate on priority targets. With eight of nine commits graded as blue-chips, the Spartans are putting together their best class in over a decade.

If they finish inside the Top 10, this could redefine the program’s future.

8. Oklahoma – 9 Commits | 0 Five-Stars | 9 Four-Stars | 158.00 Pts

No five-stars? No problem.

Oklahoma goes full-depth mode with nine four-star prospects — an entire class built on consistency. The Sooners trail Michigan State by less than two points, setting up a tight race as the season heads into November.

9. Oregon – 9 Commits | 0 Five-Stars | 9 Four-Stars | 158.00 Pts

Oregon and Oklahoma are literally tied with identical profiles and identical point totals. The Ducks continue to recruit at a national level, raiding states across the coast while maintaining dominance in the Northwest.

Expect Oregon to push for at least one major flip before the cycle ends.

10. USC – 8 Commits | 0 Five-Stars | 8 Four-Stars | 144.60 Pts

Lincoln Riley is running a small but potent class at No. 10. USC’s perfect blue-chip ratio (8/8) keeps them easily inside the Top 10 despite the low commit count. This is a classic West Coast build: speed, skill talent, and future All-Americans catching passes in bunches.

They have massive room to rise once volume increases.

11. Michigan – 7 Commits | 0 Five-Stars | 5 Four-Stars | 1 Three-Star | 1 Two-Star | 130.80 Pts

Michigan sits at No. 11, but the Wolverines haven’t hit their mid-cycle surge yet. Historically, they close well — and with seven commits, there’s room for them to vault even higher.

This class will almost certainly finish in the Top 10.

12. Notre Dame – 7 Commits | 0 Five-Stars | 7 Four-Stars | 129.80 Pts

Notre Dame remains one of the most consistent recruiting programs in the nation.
Every single commit is a four-star.

The Irish don’t have the fireworks some SEC classes produce, but the reliability in evaluation shows why they remain perennial Top-15 recruiters.

13. Texas – 6 Commits | 0 Five-Stars | 6 Four-Stars | 128.65 Pts

Texas is still early in the process, but their hit rate is perfect. Six four-star recruits, zero misses, and tons of big targets still on the board.

Expect the Longhorns to surge into the Top 10 once their commit count rises.

14. Florida – 7 Commits | 1 Five-Star | 4 Four-Stars | 2 Three-Stars | 126.50 Pts

Florida sits at No. 14, but their trajectory is rapidly rising.

With a headline five-star already locked in and a recent surge in four-star acquisitions, the Gators are building serious momentum. The staff has focused heavily on elite speed, athleticism, and defensive versatility — a clear response to the physical demands of the modern SEC.

Florida’s class is expected to grow significantly in the next few weeks, and insiders believe a Top-10 finish is well within reach.
