AND STILL!- Packers Survive Super Bowl Rematch Thriller Against Raiders

A Champion’s Statement Early

From the opening drive, Green Bay played like a team intent on leaving no doubt. Jordan Love was in complete command, carving through the Raiders’ secondary with precision and confidence. The offense moved at will, mixing tempo, balance, and aggression in a way that mirrored their championship form.

Love finished the night throwing for 320 yards and four touchdowns, completing more than 75% of his passes with a passer rating north of 137. He spread the ball efficiently, attacked mismatches, and never forced the pass. The result was a relentless offensive rhythm that built a commanding lead.

By the middle portion of the game, the Packers had dominated time of possession, third downs, and total yards, stretching the lead to three possessions. The game felt familiar — eerily similar to the Super Bowl script. Green Bay was dictating terms. The Raiders were chasing.

Control Turns to Chaos

Back-to-back onside kick recoveries by Las Vegas injected sudden life into the Raiders’ sideline. Despite being outplayed for much of the night, the Raiders refused to fold. They piled up yardage through the air, forced defensive adjustments, and slowly erased the deficit. Possession by possession, the gap closed — until finally, the unthinkable happened. Las Vegas forced overtime.

Momentum swung violently and the Cheeseheads could do nothing about it.

Overtime Belongs to the Champs

In the extra period, the pressure shifted entirely. One mistake would decide the game. One drive could rewrite the night.

Jordan Love marched the offense down the field with his championship composure. The drive ended the only way it should have: a touchdown. Jordan read the edge pressure perfectly, pulled the rock out of Singleton’s hand and zipped it on a line to Savion Williams who worked his way for 30 yards to the endzone.

But the story wasn’t finished yet.

Las Vegas answered with urgency, pushing the ball into the red zone with ease and threatening to extend the game. The tension was suffocating. And then, the defense delivered.

Javon Bullard Ends It

With the Raiders inside the red zone, searching for a tying score, Javon Bullard read the quarterback’s eyes, broke on the throw over the middle, and sealed the game with a game-ending interception. In an instant, the chaos stopped. The comeback was over. The rematch belonged to Green Bay.

The banner still hangs.
The standard still holds.
The Packers remain the team to beat.
