Can you talk about the development of Quentin Johnston so far?
I loved what I saw in training camp, he already has such a good feel for the game. Having vets like Keenan and Mike really helped him improve in a short amount of time. Mike is showing him how to use his frame and Keenan is showing him all the technical things. Expect big things in the near future.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Tyreek Hill?
It’s really tough, maybe the hardest thing. With a guy like Tyreek you have to get to the QB before he can get to Tyreek. If you play off of him, then they can dump it down to him and everyone knows what he can do after the catch. Play up on him and he’s cooking your best DB by 15 yards and throwing up the peace sign on the way there. It’s all about getting in the QBs head.
RB Austin Ekeler is so impressive, how hard he runs is so apparent. What else about his skill set makes him special?
He’s the MOST versatile back in the league. Wanna give him 20 carries a game… he can do that. Wanna pass it to him 7 times a game… he can do it.
