How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
I feel you can always take something from a game weather it's a win or a loss. In this game specifically we saw some areas on the offense side of the ball that were a struggle and we can make the adjustments.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Titans last week?
The Titans have a really smart coach who will keep you on your toes and some really dynamic players like Derrick Henry and Shop. A lot of young talent to be built there, but they are a tough team so the victory feels great.
Can you talk about the development of Cedric Tillman so far?
Cedric Tillman is in a position to have a role in this offense very soon.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Lamar Jackson?
Lamar Jackson is a special player and he is very difficult to plan for because you can try everything you can to contain him, and we had great success with that, but even so it just takes one big play. You saw it with the option he took to the house. We contained him very well but it's hard to do that for the entire game.
How has Akiem Hicks’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Can't say enough how great of a pick up Hicks was to this team. He makes a huge impact on the field and is really make everyone around him better with his guidance and veteran presence.
What is the status of Joel Bitonio and when is he set to return?
Joel is making great progress and we expect to see him on the field very soon.
What kind of player do you see when you look at Lamar Jackson?
He is truly just a one of a kind player, and he is not even in the prime of his career. I see a bright future for him.
Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
In the Premier Madden League a lot of it is mental. You can read coverages and try to make the right decisions, but the main factor is that user on the other side of the ball and what they will do. Avoiding the turnovers in this league is watching the film to see where they are going to be and what adjustments they are going to make and adjusting your game plan when you see something from the other user.
What were some of the contributing factors to the loss this week?
We just couldn't get it going on offense in time. The defense played phenomenal and really kept us in that game, but we needed the offense to be better to run away with it.
RB Nick Chubb is so impressive, how hard he runs is so apparent. What else about his skill set makes him special?
He just runs so hard and is so strong. Once he gets moving he is hard to tackle
What are your thoughts about the Ravens just in general as a team?
Right now they are prone to making some mistakes on offense that hinder the team as a whole, but if they can limit that the defense and talent of this team can really take them to the next level.
