Giants Week 4 Injury Report & Focus Players

After an exciting round of week three games, we are in week 4. In simming through the week 4 practice, the Giants still have a number of injuries. Each week we will go over the injury report and practice focus players before the game and update the depth chart at that position.

Focus Players:

HB Saquon Barkley: Barkley was trained in order to get him XP to go into the 95 threshold. He is currently at 3709/11,586. He will be trained each week in order to get him to that threshold by hopefully mid season.

WR Parris Campbell: Campbell was extremely close to his deep threat upgrade. He was focused in order to go into the next tier to get his upgrade and was able to successfully get an upgrade. Coach Burn was hoping for a speed upgrade, but had to settle for the release and route upgrades for now.

RE Boogie Basham: Basham is the guy who took over for Leonard Willaims at the right end spot. He is a fast and strong guy, who Coach Burn can see as someone who will be on this team long term. He is only a few hundred points away from an upgrade that will help his pass rushing skills.

RT Evan Neal 73 Overall – 3 weeks (Abdominal Tear)

Neal just can’t stay healthy. He got hurt for two weeks before the league even started and the first game he came back, he immediately gets hurt for three more weeks. The Giants are banking on him developing and becoming a mainstay on this offensive line, but if his injuries problems keep occurring, they must move on to another player.
.

CB Aaron Robinson 71 OVR – 1 weeks IR (Knee Cartilage Tear)

This is the moment of truth for Robinson and the Giants. The hope is that after this next advance, Robinson will come off of IR and be ready to play. The Giants are hoping that they can get one of their fastest defensive backs in the game. If he is still on IR, next week, he will stay there until week 8, and if he is still there week 8, he won’t be coming back this season at all.

MLB Jarrad Davis 70 OVR – 26 weeks IR (Complete MCL Tear)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury. No change from week 1.

TE Tommy Sweeny 64 OVR – 3 weeks IR (Ruptured Disk)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury as he will stay on IR. No change from week 1.

C J.C Hassenauer 62 OVR – 21 weeks IR (Torn Tricep)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury. No change from week 1.

TE Chris Myarick 59 OVR – 16 weeks IR (Broken Hand)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury. No change from week 1.
