AFC East: When NFL Meets Marvel
New England Patriots – Loki: You know that friend who always finds a sneaky way to win board games? That’s basically the New England Patriots in the NFL, and Loki in the Marvel world. Both are masters of the surprise move. Just when you think you’ve got them figured out… they pull out another trick. The Patriots are infamous for their unexpected plays and strategies, much like Loki popping up when you least expect him. Love them or hate them, you can’t deny both the Pats and Loki know how to steal the show. Lets see how SpDot relates.
Buffalo Bills – Cyclops: Cyclops is a X-Men who shoots powerful beams from his eyes.. He’s super powerful and a born leader, but he’s often stuck in the shadows of mutants like Wolverine or Jean Grey. Just like the Buffalo Bills. They’ve got skills, a die-hard fan base, and have had some good if not great seasons. But they’ve also been stuck playing second fiddle to teams like the Patriots for a while. However, like Cyclops, they’ve got that never-give-up attitude. Watch out for the underdogs. Can Beast lead them to glory?
Miami Dolphins – Namor: In the ’70s the Miami Dolphins were on fire. Those glory days feel a bit like Namor’s reign in Atlantis. Namor is the king underwater, but he’s had his fair share of ups and downs with the folks on land. Similarly, the Dolphins have seen some epic highs and a few lows. They’ve got that old-school royalty vibe, and like Namor, they’re always looking to bring back the magic. Here’s to diving deep and finding that spark again! Deebo is old enough to remember when the Dolphins were feared.
New York Jets – Green Goblin: Green Goblin’s entire thing is trying to one-up Spider-Man. He’s always plotting, scheming, and looking for a way to outshine his rival. Enter the New York Jets. Always in the huge shadow of the New York Giants, the Jets are that team that just wants to prove they’re not the “other” New York team. They’ve had a wild ride with some great moments, proving they can soar. Just like Goblin on his glider, they’re out to make a statement. Greeny has his team and looks to takeoff in PML.
