Giants Week 7 Injury Report & Focus Players

Giants Week 7 Injury Report & Focus Players

After an exciting round of week five games, we are in week 7. In simming through the week 7 practice, the Giants still have a number of injuries. Each week we will go over the injury report and practice focus players before the game and update the depth chart at that position.

Focus Players:

HB Saquon Barkley: Barkley is getting closer and closer each week to that 95 upgrade. He officially has 9700/11586. He is so close to getting this upgrade which will acclerate his season. He is averaging just 10 touches a game mainly due to his injury concern. WHen he goes over 10 tochues he has gotten hurt for quartrts at a time.

WR Parris Campbell: Campbell is still on his one year deal and looking to prove to Giants management that he deserves a new contract at the end of the season. The Giants want to see a development occur in Campbell and will focus train him in hopes that he gets one.

WR Wandale Robinson: Robinson is looking to get in the mix for this offense. He has been the odd man out with only 4 catches this season, but he is determined to change that. He is focusing on getting to star development, then superstar after that to propel him to the slot in this offense.

LT Andrew Thomas 92 OVR 1 weeks (Abdominal Tear)

Thomas will be back next week, and just in time to face off against the vaunted Jets defense. That will be a tough game so the Giants need everyone on deck in order to compete. The Jets lost to a team with 10 superstars, but the Giants dont have that many so they will relay on getting one of the few they have back.

LG Justin Pugh 75 OVR – 2 weeks (Broken Ribs)

Like Thomas Pugh is still out for one more week. He is looking to get back on the field and help this team win games. He will be needed for double teams against the Jets great defensive line.

CB Aaron Robinson 71 OVR – 0 weeks IR (Knee Cartilage Tear)

Robinson can officially come off of the injury list, but with only 4 roster moves this week, his return will have to wait until next week. The Giants could use his speed in their secondary, as they rank in the lower half in the league versus the pass.

MLB Jarrad Davis 70 OVR – 23 weeks IR (Complete MCL Tear)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury. No change from week 1.

TE Tommy Sweeny 64 OVR – 0 weeks IR (Ruptured Disk)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury as he will stay on IR. No change from week 1. He will stay on IR for the rest of the season.

C J.C Hassenauer 62 OVR – 18 weeks IR (Torn Tricep)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury. No change from week 1.

TE Chris Myarick 59 OVR – 13 weeks IR (Broken Hand)

He was a backup piece and will not be with the Giants next season when he heals from his injury. No change from week 1.
