The end of the season is nearly here for a lot of teams in the Premier Madden League. This upcoming draft features a generational quarterback that could help a lot of teams depending on where they fall in the draft order at the end of the season. Everyone knows that all it could take is one great quarterback to make a difference, and could be the catalyst for a team to make the playoffs when they had a bad season the previous year. In this article we will take a look at the bottom 6 teams according to MYMadden and see who could be the most likely to be at the number one spot at the end of the season.
Baltimore Ravens (2-9) TSOS .539
RSOS: .559 – Rams, Jaguars, 49ers, Dolphins, Steelers
The Ravens are the current owner of the number one overall pick. They are the worst ranked offense in the league. They have been blown out by 3+ scores in 6 out of 12 games this season. This doesn’t look good for the rest of their season, unless they somehow find an offense with the fastest player at quarterback in the league. They are projected to lose in all but one game this season. They are almost a for sure bet to hold the number one pick in this year’s draft.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) TSOS: .521
RSOS: .38 – Bengals, Browns, Ravens, Bucs, Panthers, Titans
The Jaguars have not had the season that we thought they would have, but they could rack up the wins in the last bit of this season. They face off against only 2 teams with winning records. They have been blown out by 3+ scores in 4 out of 11 games this season so for the most part they are staying in games. I am betting that they pull off some wins against lower tier teams and find themselves out of the top 5 pick range in the draft. I see them sliding all the way out of the top 10 because I feel they can win at least 3 more games this season.
New York Giants (3-9) TSOS: .559
RSOS: .583 – Packers, Saints, Eagles, Rams, Eagles
The Giants have had a tough season, especially at the quarterback position. Their remaining schedule is the second toughest in the league, behind the Commanders. They are tied for second in the league with the Eagles for toughest schedule this season. They have been blown out by 3+ scores in 3 out of 12 games this season, showing that even with an extremely tough schedule, they are competing in mostly every game. The two games versus the Eagles are the only games they will be potentially favored. The Giants feel confident that they can win against anyone and Coach Burn has stated that he sees his team out of the top ten in the draft order at the end of the season.
Panthers (3-9) TSOS: .548
RSOS: .492 – Saints, Falcons, Packers, Jags, Bucs
The Panthers have lost their starting rookie quarterback and look to be at the top spot in the draft for the second consecutive season. Problem is, they don’t have their first round pick. They are not looking good this season and their remaining schedule only has two games that they could be favored in. We can make that one really, since they just lost to the divisional rival Bucs. They have been blown out by 3+ scores in 7 out of 12 games this season. They really have a lot of things to work on and not having their first just makes matters worse. I don’t see them winning another game this season, however, the Jags game will be interesting to watch depending on the Jags record at the time.
Raiders (3-9) TSOS .536
RSOS: .517 – Vikings, Chargers, Chiefs, Colts, Broncos
The Raiders have the league’s best passing attack yardage wise, but have thrown the most interceptions in the league. We can see that yards dont matter if you’re turning over the ball at this alarming rate. It has been the story of their season and it could determine who is their next quarterback. They have been blown out by 3+ scores in 4 out of 12 games this season so the passing attack is keeping them in games but the turnovers are ensuring they lose the games. If the Ravens find a way to win any games, and the Raiders lose all of their games, they could jump the Ravens for the number one overall pick, however, I don’t see this happening. I think they beat the Colts and possibly Broncos and drop out of the top 5.
Eagles (3-9) TSOS: .559
RSOS: .52 Cowboys, Seahawks, Giants, Cardinals, Giants
Man oh Man, who could have predicted this. The best roster in the league in the current bottom five records. Everyone had such high hopes for this team in the beginning of the season and just like their own draft pick, it has just gone away at this point. They are tied with the Giants with the second hardest schedule in the league for the season and ironically they have been blown out by 3+ scores in 3 out of 12 games this season, just like the Giants as well. They are scoring points at an impressive rate, but their swiss cheese defense makes it that they have to score on every possession in order to win. They have a good shot at winning some games to end the season, but if the defense doesn’t pick up they have a shot at going 0-5 to end the season. This would be joyous news to Dlloyd as he would have traded an aging running back about to die for a top 5 pick.
As the season inches closer to the end, we will do another update in the Caleb race to see if any of the bottom six teams change.
