We had a solid game plan going into the week. We were facing a rookie in his first nfl start and knew that if our dline showed up big we would have a good chance at winning. They got to the Qb 4 times which was huge.
What is the status of D.J. Reed Jr and when is he set to return?
DJ is actually on track to come back earlier then expected. He’s healing quick and is eager to return. Expect to see him week 17.
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
We absolutely needed it. The Afc playoff race is so tight right now. The win gives us one of the best win – loss records in afc conference games so far this season which may play a factor in seeding come playoff time.
