S Tier-
Philadelphia Eagles, The Eagles have good base uniforms, the dark green is nice, but they also have the all back with the black helmet to mix it up at home. The Kelly green throwback is one of the best throwbacks in the game, and if you want to wear some ugly jerseys, they have the yellow and powder blue. Lots of variety, solid base uniforms, good throwbacks and alternates
Atlanta Falcons, Maybe the best color scheme in the league. The Falcons have so many options to choose from. The new base uniforms, the gradient red and black, the 2010 throwbacks, the 1990s throwbacks, the original Falcon helmet, the red alternate helmet, the throwback gray pants. The Falcons probably have the best overall uniform selection in the league.
Jacksonville Jaguars, The Jags have solid minimalistic current jerseys, but they have plenty of good throwback options to choose from. The 2010 jerseys are not great, but the gradient helmet is a cool option. The 2000s and 1990s throwbacks are great for both home and away. We saw Mike mix it up with the Jaguars a lot last year to show off this great uniform arsenal.
New York Jets, When I was the Jets they didn’t even have the black helmet yet and they still had great jerseys, now add that in and they are top tier. The all black alternate is solid, the throwback 2010 helmet with the all white facemask is my personal favorite, but you can also choose from a chrome green facemask as well. The helmet selection is great, the greet throwbacks are great, the modern uniforms are solid as well, but they don’t even need to be worn all the time due to all the options.
Los Angeles Rams, I love the new modern Rams jerseys and alternates. That electric blue looks great on the field, and I’m a fan of the bone color jerseys as well. The Rams have a deep and diverse throwback selection as well. Gold throwbacks, white throwbacks, St. Louis throwbacks, so many to chose from.
A Tier-
Cincinnati Bengals, The new Bengals jerseys really helped them out. There are so many different combinations to choose from with the modern jerseys, but the Bengals also have some solid throwbacks. I really like the 1980s throwbacks, and the 2010s jerseys are a good way to mix it up every now and then.
Arizona Cardinals, The jerseys change this year gave them maybe the best white jerseys in the league. The 2010s jerseys are a solid switch up, the all black alternates are very clean as well. The only thing keeping the Cardinals out of S tier is them not having a solid throwback.
Miami Dolphins, The perfect color scheme for Miami, the Dolphins have bright jerseys that stick out. They have the all orange color rush, as well as a great selection of throwbacks from the Marino era. The only complaint that you could have for Miami is the lack of a dark jersey.
San Francisco 49ers, A classic, timeless uniform based on a great color scheme. The all black alternates are a good mix up, as well as the 3D numbers. What the Niners are missing in diversity, they make up for with their color scheme and historic precedent.
Seattle Seahawks, I am not the biggest fan of the modern Seahawks jerseys if we’re being honest. The all neon is interesting, but the different throwbacks the Seahawks have are what places them this high. The Shaun Alexander era throwbacks just make the team look like they hit even harder, and the Largent jerseys are some of the best throwbacks in the league.
B Tier –
Los Angeles Chargers, Many are probably expecting them to be higher, but after reviewing the selection I dropped them to B tier. The modern jerseys are nice for sure, and have good alternates to choose from, but all their throwbacks are just worse versions of the modern jerseys.
New Orleans Saints, I did not expect to place them this high. Their current jerseys are solid, but their throwbacks are much better than I expected. I love the gold top jerseys with the black pants. I’m not a fan of the new black helmets, but they really don’t even need to be worn.
Pittsburgh Steelers, The only reason they are this high is because of the bumblebee jerseys. All of their other jerseys would land them in D or F tier. The bumblebees are so unique and so nice, but no one ever seems to wear them.
C Tier –
Cleveland Browns, The best browns options are the brown top, orange bottom with the white facemask, or the all brown color rush with orange numbers. Those two are great jerseys, but everything else is below average, including the new all white uniform.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I expected them to be higher, I am a big fan of their modern jerseys, but everything else is pretty poor. I don’t like the creamsicles, the Winston era jerseys are ugly, and the other throwbacks are just old versions of the current uniform.
Dallas Cowboys, The Cowboys do not have much diversity in their selection. They have a couple solid throwbacks/alternates but nothing that really stands out. Dallas has a classic jersey set that they stick to, but not much variety. They also wear the wrong color at home.
New York Giants, The blue alternates and white color rush are great, but everything else sucks to be honest. The jerseys are bland and boring. Without those alternates they would for sure be F tier.
Detroit Lions, The color scheme is pretty boring, the black throwbacks are nice and the new blue helmets go nice with the modern jerseys, but everything else is just boring and uninspired. The stadium is lame as well so that doesn’t help.
Las Vegas Raiders, I am a big fan of the simpleness of their jerseys, but they have absolutely zero diversity in jersey selection. Even just having black or white pants would bump them up a tier or two, but instead Raiders users are stuck wearing the same two jerseys every game for 5 seasons.
Minnesota Vikings, The current jerseys are ok, the throwbacks are pretty bad other than the Adrian Peterson era ones. There is not much to say besides that, Minnesota is just pretty boring.
D – Tier
Buffalo Bills, The moderns are solid, but all the throwbacks are ugly. There also really isn’t a good alternate either. The color scheme is super common as well, maybe its just time to embrace the ugly and wear the throwbacks every game.
Kansas City Chiefs, Their moderns are ok, but if they didn’t have Mahomes in real life I would say it’s time for a rebrand (not team name just apparel design). All the throwbacks are just uglier versions of the current uniforms. There is no color diversity either, you get to wear red or white and that’s it.
Washington Commanders, The rebrand is probably better than what they had before, but the game doesn’t even have throwbacks for them. Not a fan of the gradient numbers, and they kind of look like a soccer team wearing football uniforms.
Green Bay Packers, They have ugly jerseys, but like in a kind of ok ugly way. The stadium is super old, the jerseys are outdated, but it somehow is still better than some teams.
Carolina Panthers, they would be in F tier if they didn’t have the black helmet. Everything else looks old and is honestly just ugly. It is time for them to rebrand.
New England Patriots, Personally I’m not a fan of the patriot pat throwbacks. The color scheme is lame, the modern and 2010s jerseys are boring. The Drew Bledsoe throwbacks are the only decent options.
Tennessee Titans, another pretty lame color scheme, ugly jerseys, and the oilers throwback is very similar to the patriot pat throwback so I’m not a fan of that either. They do not do the powder blue correctly, it looks like a worse version of Ole Miss.
F Tier –
Chicago Bears, after using them for a year they really got boring to me, the only decent alternate or throwback is the orange striped one. The logo is boring, helmets are boring, jerseys are boring.
Denver Broncos, definitely the ugliest current uniform, the all orange is ok. The yellow and brown pee and poo jerseys are so ugly that they are worth wearing, but that is about it.
Indianapolis Colts, Soooooo boring. I mean its literally 10 versions of the same exact blue and white jersey. Lame color scheme, lame jerseys, no diversity. : (
Houston Texans, not much diversity, not a fan of the number font, and not a fan of the color scheme. They need a black jersey or something more interesting.
