QB Meetings: How to Study Film on your Opponent in Madden
pThe PML playoffs are about to kick off for season 1 so there is no better time to start studying for your upcoming opponent than right now. The only problem is, not everyone knows exactly what to look for when they’re looking at film of their opponent. Studying the person you’re playing to gain an understanding of what they do on offense and defense will undoubtedly help your performance in madden, and having a gameplan going into a football game based on what your opponent does is definitely more “sim” than just winging it and doing what you’re good at and always do (which is more of a video-game approach). But, not only is finding the time to study film not easy for everyone, but also knowing what to look for so that you actually get something meaningful out of your film study isn’t a common skill that everyone has unless they were taught by somebody along the way. Fortunately, I’ve been taught by many people throughout my playing career how to watch film and different strategies I have learned work for me. I want to share some of those with everyone and how I’ve used them to study film of my opponents in madden to try and gain a tactical edge in big games.ppp
