Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
Hungry. After an up-and-down second half of the season stretch, our boys are determined to put their best product on the field for January football. These guys know they're being doubted as the 7 seed, and they thrive on that doubt.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
Team health has been tricky all season, but we should be getting 2 key players back next week in Cooper Kupp and Steve Availa. Deion Jones is still set to miss more time and Cam Akers is still lost at sea.
Who is your quarterback, and why?
Well our quarterback is going to be Matthew Stafford for the playoffs. While Stetson did an admirable job to close out the regular season and secure our playoff berth, the coaching staff felt we needed Matt's veteran guidance to close the year out. Especially with Cooper still out, it's tough to put Stetson out there in such harsh conditions.
