Transcript: Bears Head Coach Press Conference

Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?

As a coaching staff, we like the players in the building right now. Hats off to our GM for being aggressive and really feeling in some positions of need going into this next season. Now hopefully the coaching staff and put it all together.

Your team is one of the oldest teams in the league in terms of average age. How do you feel about the future of this team while not having as many young players as other teams? Do you think having an older team has its benefits?

As a coach you hope the older guys can bring experience and leadership to your organization. As a coaching staff we count on those guys to be extentions of the couch staff in the locker room and on the playing field. And it's important to note, those older guys still have a lot in the tank. We expect major production out of them.

Can you speak to the overall team health?

After two preseason games overall we are as healthy as any other team. Ronnie Harrison Jr will be out a couple of weeks, he will be missed. But guys have been good about getting treatment and taking care of thier bodies. Also hats off to our training staff for the work they have done keeping our guys in the field.
