Transcript: Commanders Head Coach Press Conference

How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?

The loss last week versus, division rival Philadelphia sort of set us back on our ground after being high on cloud nine. I think the team was too stuck celebrating, last week and such a big win. We need to sit and review the film. Too many flaws on both sides of the ball. We're looking to do better as a team, and iron out the kinks and flaws we presented through the season so far.

Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Jalen Hurts?

Jalen Hurts can kill you on the ground or in the air. Even both if it's his night. He's one of, if not the fastest quarterback in the league. On top of one of the most accurate and strongest arms. It's a tough task for the defense, but I have faith in my guys that we'll be able to hold him.

What kind of player do you see when you look at Jalen Hurts?

I see a franchise quarterback, an award winning quarterback. He's versatile in all aspects and a smart football player, everything you could ask for from a player of his caliber. He can win you games on his own.
