Giants Week 4 Injury Report And Focus Players

Each week we will go over the injury report and practice focus players before the game and update the depth chart at that position.

(*) = received a upgrade
Focus Players:

*DT Dexter Lawrence: Lawrence is the best defensive player on the Giants. He is the anchor in the middle of the field and he is looking to get better. Lawrence got his upgrade and it was a monster upgrade at that. He received 12 upgrades in total. The biggest were +1 speed, +2 acceleration, and +2 block shedding. He is a 97 overall player and quickly becoming one of the best defensive players in the league.

QB Quinn Ewers: Ewers is getting his daily dose of attribute requests in order to develop into a top talent in this league. He isn’t having the greatest season as he continues to struggle with accuracy in these games. He is almost at another upgrade, which hopefully will help remediate the situation. Of course a superstar development upgrade will go a long way as well.

*CB Aaron Robinson: Robinson is on a contract year and is looking to make his name on this roster. THe Giants have a lot of young corners competing for spots, so Robinson is trying to work his way up the depth chart. He and Hawkins are competing for the second corner spot next year and Robsinson is currently winning that battle.

Injuries:

WR Parris Campbell 77 OVR – 4 weeks (Dislocated Hip)

The Giants wide receiving room is full of speedy injury prone guys. They don’t have a true number one guy at the moment and it’s hurting them on offense. Campbell was re-signed in order to try to be the number one guy but this injury will set him back a lot. With his age, he will most likely just continue to be a mediocre fast guy.

LE Chandler Jones 79 OVR – 1 Weeks (Torn Labrum)

Jones may benefit from the fact that there are no better free agents at the moment for the Giants to sign. He is a waste of roster space considering he is always injured but the Giants may just keep him as a backup just in case. I bet he gets hurt again the next time he sets foot on the field.
