What can you attribute to having one of the top-scoring teams in the league to this point?
It is definitely the defense. We generate the most turnovers in the league right now and lead the league in sacks. Our defense is definitely the strongest part of our team and scheme right now.
Did you scout Maason Smith before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
I did not scout Maason Smith before the draft. We were primarily focused on lineman on both sides of the ball before this draft so we will see how everything pans out.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC North currently?
I see the NFC North as still a highly competitive division. The Vikings are sitting at around .500 and the lions are making a push for the Wild Card. We could potentially send 3 teams moving forward towards the end of the cycle.
