Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like C.J. Stroud?
It's always great to go against a talent like him. CJ Stroud is going to keep that Texans team relevant for a long time, and it's always a threat like him that makes these games so good to get up for. I mean this is what you play for, to go against these generational talents.
What kind of player do you see when you look at C.J. Stroud?
CJ Stroud is a man of faith and such a selfless guy generally speaking. He is always giving credit to his faith and his teammates because he knows he would not be where he is today without them, and I have high respect for him in that regard, especially because I can connect with him on both of those aspects. He is a humble guy, and you gotta love that about him.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR Jerry Jeudy sort of factor into that perspective?
The WR position is one that has evolved so much over the years. Many more factors are taken into consideration nowaways, and with how pass heavy the league is now and the change of rules on how you cannot be as physical wirth wide receievers, we are seeing smaller guys excel at a high level that offer other things to the game. Personally, I think Jeudy would be a great talent no matter what era you put him in, but I feel that now you can use his after the catch ability now more than ever.
