Transcript: Falcons Head Coach Press Conference

What is the status of Bijan Robinson and when is he set to return?

Bijan Robinson will be out for a couple more weeks, one week after this bye week. We're hoping that when he comes back will be able to pick up where you left of. Peny Boone has been very good in his role so far. But we're excited to potentially get Bijan Robinson back as soon as possible. We hope he would be back for the Saints game. But next week against the New York Jets is just as good he's going to have a big part in that game.

How valuable is the self-scouting process that you go through during the Bye Week? There's the physical piece, but also that component, as well.

The self scouting is probably one of the most important parts of being a coach. If you're unaware of the issues or kinks and not your armor that you have. Then you're less aware on how to fix them. So at the end of the day self scouting and understanding yourself may be more important than understanding your opponent. Now the reps help you in game with being ready physically but the self scouting and self awareness help with every aspect of the game then just the physical.

Are you seeing the speed of the game starting to slow down for some of the rookies?

Ladd McConkey has been phenomenal this season and we attest that to his preparation and things like that. I believe that the game is starting to slow down for him specifically as we go along he's realizing that he has the potential to make plays and do things in this league that most can't. We're extremely happy with his progress thus far specifically. We've also noticed other rookies like Bolden, and Asante both improve and I think managing the game speed may be one of the key factors to that.
