What are your thoughts about the Saints going into this week?
This is our second game against the New Orleans Saints this season. First game we were able to come out with a strong victory given as a good lead in the division. This game is going to be very important I think going forward to see who is going to take the division. They have a really strong team the quarterback who is a rookie in Malik Murphy. Has shown that he has the ability to play at a high level when it comes to PML competition. Our first game against him he had a backbreaking interception late in the game that ended up with the sealing game for us. I don't expect him to have another backbreaking interception like that. Our hope is that we could come into the game controlling the ball and making Malik Murphy's day chaotic. Our defense has been struggling as of late but we're hoping that this week could be the week we turn it around we had a bye week to prepare for this game and hopefully all the preparation we took pans out.
Can you talk about the development of Ladd McConkey so far?
That's most of PML no Ladd MacConkey is my favorite player when it comes to rookies. His development so far has been very good actually better than we expected. He is a key reason that we were able to trade a fantastic why receiver like Drake London to the Dallas Cowboys to get a fantastic pass rusher in my Micah Parsons. Without his development we probably standpat instead of trading somebody like Drake London who is a big part of this team for two seasons. Thankfully our coaching staff and Ladd himself have been put in an endless hours to develop and get better at the game. He's still very young and there's still a lot more to learn but we are very excited with what we have noticed so far. There are some stuff that he needs to work on and he knows that and hopefully with more time he'll be a top wide receiver in PML.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Chris Olave?
Crystal Live eight is a very very good wide receiver and PML. Play in and play out he is someone that demands respect and also demands extra players when it comes to covering him. With our matchup so far the cycle against the New Orleans Saints we've had the pleasure of not seeing them in the lineup and then also seeing him in the lineup which makes his impact more apparent. He does have a rookie in Malik Murphy trying to get him the ball. We are hoping that we could cover him just long enough for a pass rush to get there and create havoc against Malik Murphy. That being said it is not an easy task for our defensive coordinator and our defense as a whole to try to do. That's the type of player Chris Olave is. He creates an issue when it comes to scheming up a defense. Someone that you have to account for on every play and you gotta make sure you know where he is at all times. With that being said we are excited to go into another match up with the New Orleans Saints and try to deal with this challenge.
